We have been here a week tomorrow. I don’t know when we will get out of here. Our day goes as follows: We wake up and John (Dad) does the weather report from Winlink and the weather report that John A. is sending us (really appreciated). We then go on VHF and tell the other two boats here what we have. We have coffee and around 1030 we think about breakfast. Then it’s take a siesta and then the breakfast dishes. In the afternoon we do some swimming and reading of paperbacks. Boy, what a life. We have dinner early and then one of the other boats here comes and picks us up and we go walking on the beach. After our nightly jaunts we have been going from one boat to the other for drinks. Today a new boat came in around 1430 and it is heading north to North Carolina. We are going to listen to NASCAR tomorrow and are not sure the time. Probably in the late afternoon. Steve can you reply. Yesterday we ran the watermaker and made 70 gallons in about three hours. We have tried out our portable washing machine with the generator and it does an OK job.

The winds are 20-25 mph Seas 7-10 feet on the outside. In here the seas are 1-2 inches. The wind is the same. Great for the wind generator. We have all kinds of power. Every thing is working. Life’s good! Continuous white sand beach for 300 degrees.
Caught a 4′ dolphin. Holed up for weather. Beautiful anchorage. Atwood Harbour, Acklins Island, Bahamas. Got Winlink working. Getting good weather reports now.
